Hi Everyone,
I caught my first musky last summer at Blue marsh Lake and again landed a nice size musky in canada this past Sept. My question is ..."I'm hooked"!!! That was so much fun catching them , I would like some more useful info on catching and releasing Mr. Musky. I live in the Lehigh Valley area and would like to know if there's any clubs in this area? Also, could anyone suggest any areas to explore in the Lehigh Valley for a Musky hunt. Thanks again...

Welcome! We are having our monthly meeting tomorrow 10-15 at Cabelas in Hamburg at 8am. You are more than welcome to come and meet the guys in our club. We are going fishing immediately after and it appears that there is room in some boats so bring your equipment. MI50 covers the entire Eastern Pa, and we have members living throughout the area.
As for fishing in the Lehigh Valley, I'm not too sure, but I think there may be a musky spot or two. ::)
Looking forward to your involvement .

You're in the right place! I live in Blakeslee in the poconos. We would love to have you meet us at Cabelas in Hamburg tomorrow at 8:00 am. (I know that's short notice). As far as muskie waters near the lehigh valley, there's none closer than the Lehigh River. A little further away there is Beltzville and Nockamixon in bucks county, and not many better than the Delaware and Susquehanna rivers. It would be great for you to hook up with us. We have a lot of experienced guys, and could get you started in the right direction. HOPE TO SEE YOU!
