I have heard of ver large shiners for musky called "musky shiners". I need some for trophy Lg mouth bass fishing. Can anyone tell me the closest place to trenton to buy shiners over 6".

Ok I'll bite, I have never heard of any type of shiner being called a "musky shiner"
I would have to guess that someone used some very large shiners and caught a musky on one and an urban myth was born.
