I JUST RECEIVED THE NEW MUSKY HUNTER MAGAZINE FOR JUNE/JULY. THERE IS AN INTERESTING ARTICLE ABOUT MICHIGAN MUSKY REGULATIONS THAT IVE WANTED HERE IN PA FOR YEARS. ANGLERS ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO HARVEST 1 MUSKY PER SEASON (INCLUDING TIGERS) ONLY IF YOU HAVE A MUSKY HARVEST TAG. LETS FACE IT MUSKY FISHERMEN DONT KEEP ANY FISH PERIOD. THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO DONT FISH FOR THEM AND CATCH THEM BY ACCIDENT. I FISH MARSH CREEK ALOT. 2 WEEKS AGO THERE WAS A BOAT IN THE MIDDLE HUMP OF THE LAKE WITH A VERY BIG AND FAT MUSKY ON A STRINGER HANGING OFF THE SIDE OF THE BOAT. WHY SHOULD THERE BE A TROUT STAMP AND NOT A MUSKY STAMP. I THINK THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT HERE IN PA. ITS NOT LIKE THE MUSKY FISHING HERE IS EASY. DONT MAKE IT HARDER BY LETTING THESE FISH BE TAKEN FROM OUR FISHERIES. IF YOU HAVE NO TAG IT IS CATCH AND IMMEDIATE RELEASE. ID BE HAPPY TO PAY EXTRA. MAYBE THE MONEY COULD GO TO A GOOD CAUSE LIKE STARTING ANOTHER MUSKY PROJECT AT ANOTHER PA LAKE. TOO MUCH TIME AND MONEY GOES INTO CHASING THESE FISH AND IT GETS HARDER EVERY YEAR TO CATCH THEM AS THE NUMBERS GO DOWN AND THE FISH GET SMARTER. THANK YOU

I was out on water that day and heard about the BIG muskie on stringer but didnt see it. I like this idea as well. We certainly have some contacts we can suggest it to. Too much time, effort and money are spent to get a fish to 43" and then someone takes it home to feed the cat :'(

yeah im pretty sure that was me that told you. the fish was over 40 no doubt i seen it. but i know they were bass fishin. they didnt do anything unlawful but its way too easy just to take that big of a fish out of the genepool. not to mention last year i found a tree climbin musky with a branch up through its gills and out its mouth. in a tree.. hmmmmmm..... well under 40inches.. cant change the world i guess. all we can do is our best to conserve them beauties at marsh creek. im not a member but im a musky nut.dont forget to figure 8
