Any of you that have not fished from shore yet are missing the boat . I loose my share of lures casting from shore but I also get alot back with a few tricks that i use. Its hard to loose a $35.00 lure anytime.
One of them is the Torpedo , When snagged on the bottom Ill get a log or large branch it has to have wieght to it though , I put my line at the end of the log and launch it directly at the snag like a torpedo as the log goes past the snag it usually pulls free.
Another one ive used in high water is just cut the line tie it of on shore and come back after the water has dropped sometimes youll be able to wade out to it and get the lure after the water has dropped. ML
