Anyone ever use these? Thoughts?
I know Keyes uses them, and although I use and love the Tranx I own, I wanted to save a few bucks replacing an old NaCL Revo.

Never owned one. But the reel sounds great on paper! 30 pounds of drag., stainless bearings. And its not heavy! Sounds like a win win. With regular maintenance anything is possible. Im interested also in hearing about this topic.

Junk after a year, seen a few guys having problems with them after a season screws breaking, shaft wearing out, for an extra $20 you can buy a Tranx300, A3 was designed for bass swim baits not the wear and tear of burning musky baits.

I'll likely regret it but I bought it before I read this. Abu Garcias keep letting me down and I already have two Tranx so I thought I'd try the A3. 12 months from now when I'm sending it back, I'll let you guys know! 🙂
