Hey,
I've missed a couple of big muskies on the "cowbell" lately. I see the hit, feel the hit and then they are off. The hooks are sticky and I can't figure out why this is happening, it's really pissing me off. Does anyone wait a second, like with topwater, before setting a hook with the DCG? I've been using the purple skirt and copper blades on really clear water, maybe silver blades would make them engulf the lure more.
Later,
Tim

I used one for a few of hours this morning with my Penn 955 and a medium heavy 8' rod. Not too bad of a bait on the Penn, which is a lower ratio reel as Dan mentioned. Certainly didn't feel like a wet sock to me, though it thumps very nicely.

Is Bushkill Tom wearing a "Mansier"?????
Nice to see you've been working out! All of those rumors about the massive consumption of Ho-Ho's must be false...
