Was wondering when the best times are for glidders?such as a treat or a phantom?I believe I remember red telling me anything over 60 degrees but I could be wrong about that! I've thrown mantas before but only use them in the winter.can I asume it applies the same for these baits?i usually don't throw these on the lehigh an just want to make sure I'm not wasting my time throwing these particular lures at the wrong time of year or water temp.
Thanks a lot guys

Tim,
I use Gliders all through the year. Remember that they have a low hook-up ratio if you don't fish them the same as a topwater (Spook type) bait. Wait for the weight on the line and then set the hook. Also, all Gliders will run differently. You will have to experiment with rod types and ratings to get the most out of each type of Glider. I presently have 3 different rods I use for Gliders, depending on which one I'm using at the time. After you learn to get them to run (Walk the dog) right. With a little practice you can get alot more action out of them. Which will trigger more fish to bite. Hope this helps. Pat

Do you guys like to work them fast or slow? My initial thought would be to work them fast as the water warms up and slower when it starts to cool off. Does this sound right?
Hope you don't mind me budding in, Tim?
Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big
