Ok, I'll throw my two cents worth in here. Have you thought about a custom rod?
I've had Keith Terlinden, (Professional Edge Rods), build us a couple rods & while they weren't St. croix's., DB's, let's just say they are awesome. You may want to considerer giving him a call & tell him what your looking for in a rod. He builds St. Croix's, DB's & his own line of rods. His prices are not much more than retail & shipping is very reasonalble, ($15.00 I believe). He returns calls within 24hrs., impressively quick service, high quality. Builds rods for fishermen & just a really nice guy & very easy to talk with, whether you decide to buy or not.
You can check out his website: http://www.proedgefishing.com. or give him a call at (612) 802-4629.
Hope this helps...Silvia Spitzer

Tim,
I meant to post this earier, but forgot. Must be getting old. ;D Well I don't own the same rod but one very similiar. It is a custom made rod but a local guy that built it for me and has worked on a lot of Greg and mine rods. It is a St Croix blank that is a 8' mh -fast action/ 3/4-3oz lure weight, which I think is the same as the one you are looking at. It has a spiral (acid) wrap on the rod...before anyone ask what that is here is an explanation http://www.westcoastangler.com.....d_rods.php. I absolutly love it. It have used it to throw ss shads, muskie treats, 7-8"
twitchbaits. I think it will be an awesome setup with a Luna!... 🙂
Also might want to check profishing edge like Silvia said. I have heard very good things about them!...
Thanks,
Sebastian

Tim,
Here is the pricing for the St Croix custom rods from proedge... http://www.proedgefishing.com/.....roix_m.asp
If you want I can talk to the guy who built mine. I usually contact him by email and see what his price is. I am not sure what he charges since I made a lure painting swap/cash deal....I will PM once he contacts me...
