I realize there will be many opinions but I need some guidance on reels. I have several Abu 6500's in the round conventional style for SW fishing which I like alot but they have the side bar casting button and not easy to palm. I also have a few smaller low profile bass reels like the Shimano Curado but they don't seem tough enough. Neither of these seem right.
I would like a larger low profile reel that has a high speed gear ratio and a solid drag to handle braid and catching muskie. Any suggestions or experiences, positive or negative would be approciated.
Thanks
