last night Archie mentioned to me that these rods are hard to come by or not stocked in local stores.
keep in mind that i try to remain humble and modest - here is what's happenning:
the rods were first dissemenated to field people and sales people. Then, muskie regions like MN,WI and Canada got the first shipments. NJ, NY and other east coast states are the last to get them in bulk. Lately, Our regional stores such as the sportsmens center are receiving minimal orders because national demand is higher than expected. Basically, rods are backordered.
the rods archie got were actually the first set of shimano muskie rods for the 2005 season on the east coast. We (the club) had them prior to all the magazines and other writers etc...and most muskie gurus of the midwest.
The allotment of rods archie and bob saw(8 rods from the lineup of 11) were shipped to me early because of time sensitive things i have been working on. Read between the lines are you'll SEE where i am going with this.
