I just wanted to get your thoughts on using "spoons" for muskies. I've got a bunch of them that I've used for Pike in the past , but just about everything I've ever read regarding lures for muskies, never mention them. Bad lures or just better choices? Why do you think that they aren't as effective?

Sometimes you've got to "jiggle' it, and sometimes you've got to give it one big

I threw a daredevl almost all day today at the tournament. It has great action and flash. It certainly works for musky. Pick the size spoon to match the fish you are targeting. The larger the better
Don't be afraid to use it.

I threw a 3" Johnson's Silver Minnow with a 4" Lunker City Fins trout patterned soft bait on the back. The flash and wobble of the Silver Minnow along with the wiggle of the soft bait really gave a good presentation in the water. After watching Barry's black and white DareDevle come through the water, I want to try one even more so now. But I'll probably go red and white, my preference. Plus I'll try soft plastics to change the appearance. Give the fish something different to look at!

Pickerel Pete, etc.

Didn't somebody get a fish on a spoon a few years back at the fall Greenwood outing. It was one of only a few fish caught, so spoons can't be that bad.....
