Thanks to all who showed up and helped with the Marsh Creek Clean up. This is a great event a way for us to give back to the environment and the places we fish. The park ranger at MC is always appreciative and impressed by our efforts. We only had 6 or 7 of us on Sunday and I think we can do much better than that. I want to assign new ownership for this event in 2020 and plan ways to increase club as well as involve other organizations next year. Let me know who's interested in taking ownership. Thanks

It was great to see Mike and Jesse on Sunday at the clean up. When doing my section I had an interesting display put on by an osprey. He hovered right in front of me, about 30 feet in the air and 10 feet off the bank, and dove once, twice and on the third dive came up with about a 10 inch perch or bass, my eyes aren't what they used to be, and flew off. It was especially impressive because of the stiff wind he was hovering in and the chop on the water.
All in all it was another rewarding experience and I found two more lures! It is just rather disgusting to see what kind of trash people either leave at the edge of the water or is blown up against the bank. Regardless, I hope we made a dent in the amount of garbage surrounding the lake.
