The fall Muskie School was FANTASTIC! I had the pleasure of fishing with Bob Jones -- He was a wonderfull teacherand fishing companion. He enabled me to finally put together and clarify all the information I have read over the past several years (Tackle, Techniques, and Timing). I have fished for over fifty years but the oly species I have not taken in NJ waters (fresh and salt) was a Muskie. Within the first few hours on the water Bob taught me: bait selection, trolling techniques, how to work glide and jerk baits and where to find fish (maybe). The icing on the cake came after five hours of hard fishing we missed one and a short time later I was fortuate enough to land a 34 - 35 incher.

Alan, DL is wrong. Bob Jones is one of the best. Mr Jones has only caught one muskie this year. Of course that's one more than some other members. Muskiedad

Alan and i had a great tme sat fishing.I could tell right away he was expereinced and he caught on fast.He has a great attitude and ethic for catch and release.I'm sure he will be very sucessfull in this sport.I also took Ken Koury out on sunday.We fished the river and allthough we didnt see any thing we had a great time.Ken had a little more expereince,and like Alan has been fishing his whole life.Again,great attitude and release ethic.I'm sure we'll see both of these guys again.I want to thank all the members that participated and also the guys who made there sevices avalible even though we didnt use them.Most of all,thanks to the guys who book trips with us.I hope everyone had fun,learned something and continue to enjoy this sport.Bob Jones [[%&]]
