Greetings from Chapter22. . . any Chapter 50 members interested in attending the Forum be advised that it is being held December 4th 10:00am @ the Hackettstown Hatchery. I encourage you to attend. There will be a tour covering the 1.5 million in improvements to the hatchery and we should learn if our proposal to increase the statewide size limit was approved.
If you are not aware we have requested that NJ increase the size limit from 36" to 40" and trophy waters be increased from 40" to 48". We have also proposed that our trophy waters be increased from Mt. Lake and Echo Lake to include Monksville, Greenwood and Lake Hopatcong.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Please take a moment to give thanks to those who serve.
Sincerely, Cal Huntzinger

Our fishery is the result of a lot of hard work of many MI 22 members and NJ Fish and Wildlife over the past twenty plus years. It is up to all of us to be good stewards and I know the members of MI 50 will help us maintain ours as you work to further yours. I see the effort your chapter is making. Keep at it gang and you'll build the eastern half of your fishery. PA is my home state and with so many acre feet of water it will dwarf NJ in the years to come.
How many bodies of water are currently being stocked with toothies?
Happy Turkey!!!!! Cal
