Who's going fishing this weekend or in the near future? What are your plans now that things have cooled down a little?

Ben and I will be heading up to the St. Lawerence for a 4 day musky trip. It's a full moon period and the weather looks pretty good, it's going to be around freezing the first night and then warming up a little and they are calling for rain. Usually a s/sw wind is good where we fish, but they are calling for winds from the east and north, hopefully that doesn't affect the muskies too much. Calling for a low pressure system, so that is good news. We will be trolling plows, buchers, beleivers, warner baits and cowgirls mainly...along with working some key points with bulldawgs and red october tubes. I know fast trolling works, but slow trolling in cold water has worked in the past, so that's what we'll be sticking too. I plan on experimenting with running an outside line on a planer board too.

Good Luck this fall everyone,

Tim

Tim,

Plans like those are the kind that almost make me want to give up deer hunting so that I have the vacation time to make those kind of trips. Good luck, be safe and catch some 50's.

Good luck Timmy. You guys should freeze your arses off but I know you'll do great. Love that moon phase.
And good luck to Happy Hookers too. I was up on the susky on last Sunday. The river is at the lowest I've ever seen it. We had one hell of a time just launching. Good Luck

I was supposed to be in the truck right now on the way to the Allegheny again, but they're going to get more rain and sooner than us. We bagged the trip so instead we will be up on the Delaware first thing Saturday.

Anyone else?
