My son is now living in the Harrisburg (Millersburg) area. I would like the names of muskie guides that work that area of the Susquehanna River. Think spring and longer days.

I am pretty sure Tom guides but not in the Harrisburg area. He is located in the Williamsport area.

I think Tom is the only muskie guide on the Susquehanna.  There are a couple of bass guides in that area that may catch muskies every now and then, but as far as I know Tom is the only one that really goes after muskies.  Take a look at his website.

It's actually not too far a trip from Millersburg to the area where Tom is fishing.

A muskie fishing friend who occasionally hangs out on this board lives in Millersburg but hasn't fished that section of river for muskies.  It sounds like miles of water less than 3' deep.  I'll let him chime in if he wants.

Try Jay Boettner, Jack Boettner or Roy Betz. They guide out of Hall's Marine South in Middletown, PA. Try this link to make contact or call:

Hope this helps you out a bit!

Thanks for the leads. I'll be checking them out. Is there a closed season for muskie in NJ?

As I read it, there is no closed season for musky in New Jersey, including the Delaware River. However, best to check the regulations for yourself. I am including a link to New Jersey freshwater fishing regulations for you.
