PFBC Muskie Survey Photographs

Muskies Inc Chapter 50 Penn-Jersey (MI50.com) joins Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Biologists to see first hand what it takes to survey the fish population on Lake Nockamixon. Nets are set and pulled – Muskies removed from the nets are pit tagged, weighed, measured, and more. MI50 has a significant interest in the pure-bred barred Muskellunge that were first introduced to the lake in the fall of 2012 at the average length of 14 inches. Through various fund-raising activities, MI50 spent (see chart here) on advanced fingerlings for Nockamixon in order to better Muskie fishing for everyone wanting to fish the southeastern part of Pennsylvania
